Opening the Doors to Your Dreams

CoAlba Overseas Counseling Office and College-Bound High School Students

Picture
Some of you have been planning for this year for quite some time, while for others it seems as though it has suddenly appeared from nowhere. Your senior year. Wow. For college-bound seniors, it's a time to savor your accomplishments, narrow down your list of colleges, gather all your necessary test scores and high school transcripts, request letters of recommendation, and begin work on your college admission essays (for those going abroad)... and in reality, for most of you, this process began at least a year ago, if not longer. Don't fret if you're late to the game, however, you still have plenty of time to get your college applications in -- as long as you're willing to put the time in to complete them.

That and more is the main reason for the inception of the CoAlba Overseas Counseling Office. We are starting to counsel students to select the right career paths while choosing their own plans, institutes of higher education and country of study. We are a solution-oriented counseling office, with a single mind approach in tailoring career paths to suit individual profiles. CoAlba Overseas Counseling Office was established with a vision to provide guidance and advice to any CoAlba student willing to study abroad or  in Colombia.
With highly qualified counselors, committed and experienced, CoAlba wants to become one of the leading high school overseas counseling centerby  making our students' dreams to study abroad true.

CoAlba Overseas Counseling Office acts as a bridge between students and colleges. We do this by offering comprehensive help so colleges/universities can get their name out to students and students can find their ideal institution.

                                                                                            Our Mission

The mission of the CAOC is to help students who are considering undergraduate education outside of Colombia to explore that possibility and for those who ultimately decide they would like to study abroad to seek appropriate university choices.  The office does not push the idea of studying overseas nor do we believe it is the right choice for every student; instead we provide a service for CoAlba students and their parents by providing additional undergraduate options.  Choosing the right university for your undergraduate education is one of the most important life choices that you will make; therefore, we are here to guide and support you through this process.  We work in conjunction with the CoAlba University Counseling Office and are here to help you make the decision whether study in Colombia or overseas, to discuss costs, selection criteria and preparation for admissions to universities outside of Colombia.  For those who decide to apply to university outside of Colombia, we will help you to choose universities that fit your budget, offer the majors you are considering and are good fits in terms of your academic background and personal living and  learning style.  Our office is comprehensive and the process begins as early as 7th Grade.  I hope you find our website helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have additional questions.
