Colleges produce a ton of material to help you make your college decisions, so take advantage of all they offer.
A great source for learning more about a college that interests you is going directly to the source: the college itself.
There is no shortage of resources and information, from the college's Website, to literaure and brochures, to Webcams and DVDs.
Start this process by typing the college's name into Google (or your favorite search engine) and navigate to the college's Website. From there, you'll be able to read key facts and information about the school as well as reqest to be placed on the mailing list for even more information.
Hint: Don't just spend all your time in the admissions section of a college's Website -- dig deeper into the academics, student services, athletics, and more. State schools -- because of disclosure laws -- often have amazing amounts of information.
Suggestion: If you do submit your name and address for more information for a large number of colleges, be prepared for the large quantity of mail you'll receive by getting one or more file boxes ready to keep all the materials organized!
